Conference Accommodation
For FAccT 2025, we are exploring a different model for the conference; rather than hosting it at a hotel, we have chosen a cultural venue that we hope will better integrate the conference in the host city of Athens (the Athens Conservatory). As a result, attendees will be responsible for identifying and booking their own accommodation and transit from among many different options. To aid in your search, below are a few options curated by the Local Chairs (some of which have provided discount codes for FAccT attendees). We want to highlight that we are providing these recommendations for the attendees’ ease, and we are unable to vet them or bear any liability for the pricing or any issues caused by their selection. We also encourage you to check various booking platforms for your selected option and explore other possibilities as well.
In addition to many hotels within walking distance (map), the venue is also easily accessible by public transit (details). Please note that you can use your credit/debit cards (including your phone's digital wallet) to directly purchase a ticket for the public transportation services; public transport is quite cheap in Athens (€1,20 for 90').
We urge you to book accommodations as soon as possible; FAccT will take place during high tourist season in Athens, and lodging will become increasingly harder to book as we approach the conference dates.
Conference discounted hotels
Unlike past years, we have not reserved a specific block of hotel rooms, but the following hotels have provided a discount code for FAccT attendees.
- Hestia Luxury Apartments: Note that most of these options are farther from the venue in walking distance than others in the area (approx. 30 mins). Please use the code “FACCT2025” while booking with our partner “Hestia Apartments”; prices will range depending on the hotel and room selected (approximate range is from €110-200/night). The discounted prices apply for the dates between 22-27 June 2025. The hotel also has a loyalty membership program, for which attendees can optionally register to receive an additional small discount. - Airotel Stravos Vassilikos & Airotel Alexandros:These have limited availability compared to Hestia but are significantly closer to the venue (approx. 10 minutes walking). Both hotels are accessible for people with disabilities.
Also, if you’re trying to book a room as a person with disabilities, you are advised to reach out to the hotel to ensure the accessibility of the facilities.

There are many hotels closer to the venue; these do not offer a discount code, but have been selected by Local Chairs as other options to explore.
Other options
All major booking sites, including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, and Tripadvisor, as well as all major hotel chains, are available in Athens. Additionally, smaller hotels are listed online and on google maps and have independent websites. The area within walking distance from the venue is safe. We encourage the participants to look for their own accommodation options if they prefer. We also encourage participants to try and book their rooms directly through the hotels’ websites as prices will be generally lower than third-party intermediary services.
